Apollo.io Connector

Intro

This article explains how to use Domo’s Apollo.io Connector to import account, contact, email engagement, call activity, task, and campaign performance data from your Apollo.io workspace into Domo. Combine this data with your first-party data to analyze sales performance, measure engagement, and gain deeper insights into prospect and campaign activity.

Prerequisites

To connect to the Apollo.io account and create a DataSet, you need the Access Token associated with your Apollo.io account. For more information, see Apollo.io API Documentation.

To generate an Apollo.io API key:

1. Sign in to your Apollo.io account.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select Integrations.
4. Select API Keys.
5. Select Create New Key.
6. Copy and securely store the generated API key for use when configuring the connector.

This article covers the fields and menus specific to the Apollo.io Connector user interface. For general information about adding DataSets, setting update schedules, and editing DataSet information, see Add a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Configure the Connection

This section describes the options in the Credentials and Details panes on the Apollo.io Connector page. The components of the Scheduling and Name & Describe Your DataSet panes are universal across most connector types and are discussed in Add a DataSet Using a Data Connector.

Enter Your Credentials

The Credentials pane contains the field for entering credentials to connect to the Apollo.io API. The following table describes what is needed for each field.

Field	Description
Access Token	Enter the Access Token.

Once you have entered valid Apollo.io Connector credentials, you can use the same account to create a new Apollo.io Connector DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the Accounts tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see Manage User Accounts for Connectors.

Configure the Details Pane

This pane contains a primary Reports menu, along with various other menus for configuring your report.

Menu	Description
Report	Select the Apollo.io report you want to run. The following reports are available: Report Description Account Stages Returns configured account stage values. Accounts Returns organizations saved in your Apollo workspace. Calls Returns call activity logged in or initiated through the Apollo dialer. Contact Stages Returns configured contact stage values. Contacts Returns prospects and contacts saved in your Apollo workspace. Conversations Returns conversation summaries recorded from Apollo dialer and video calls. Deals Returns sales opportunities created in your Apollo workspace. Deal Stages Returns configured deal stage values. Email Accounts Returns email accounts connected to Apollo for sending outreach emails. Email Activity Returns email delivery and engagement metrics, including opens, clicks, replies, and bounces. Fields Returns standard and custom field definitions configured in your workspace. Lists Returns saved account and contact lists. Sequences Returns outreach sequences and associated performance metrics. Tasks Returns tasks created for workflow and activity tracking. Users Returns users associated with your Apollo account.
Accounts: Organization Name	Enter an organization name to filter accounts. Partial matches are supported.
Accounts: Stage IDs (comma-separated)	Enter one or more Apollo account stage IDs, separated by commas, to filter accounts by stage.
Accounts: Label IDs (comma-separated)	Enter one or more Apollo label IDs, separated by commas, to filter accounts by label.
Contacts: Keywords	Enter keywords to filter contacts. Searches across contact names, titles, organizations, and other available fields.
Contacts: Stage IDs (comma-separated)	Enter one or more Apollo contact stage IDs, separated by commas, to filter contacts by stage.
Contacts: Label IDs (comma-separated)	Enter one or more Apollo label IDs, separated by commas, to filter contacts by label.
Calls: Date Range	Select the date range to filter calls by start date.
Calls: Direction	Select the call direction to return inbound calls, outbound calls, or both.
User IDs (comma-separated)	Enter one or more Apollo user IDs, separated by commas, to filter results by user.
Emails: Status Filter (comma-separated)	Enter one or more email status values, separated by commas, to filter email activity. Supported values include delivered, scheduled, drafted, not_opened, opened, clicked, unsubscribed, demoed, bounced, spam_blocked, and failed_other.
Emails: Sequence IDs (comma-separated)	Enter one or more Apollo sequence IDs, separated by commas, to return results for specific sequences.
Emails: Date Range Mode	Select the date field used when applying the email date range filter.
Emails: Date Range	Select the date range to filter email activity. The selected range is applied to the date field specified in Date Range Mode.
