# AWS Focus Cost And Usage Connector

## Intro

This article explains how to configure and use the AWS Focus Cost And Usage Domo Connector, to retrieve cost and usage data from AWS, and import it into Domo for reporting and analysis.

You can connect to your AWS Focus Cost And Usage account in the Data Center. This topic discusses the fields and menus specific to the AWS Focus Cost And Usage Connector user interface. To add DataSets, set update schedules, and edit DataSet information, see [Adding a DataSet Using a Connector](/docs/s/article/360042926274).

## Prerequisites

To connect to your AWS Focus Cost And Usage account and create a DataSet, you must have the following:

* Amazon Resource Name
* The identifier for the assumed role session
* ExternalId

## Connecting to Your AWS Focus Cost And Usage Account

This section enumerates the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes on the AWS Focus Cost And Usage Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, **Scheduling** and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in [Adding a DataSet Using a Connector](/docs/s/article/360042926274).

## Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your AWS Focus Cost And Usage account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

| Field           | Description                                                 |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| RoleArn         | Enter the ARN (Amazon Resource Name) of the role to assume. |
| RoleSessionName | Enter the identifier for the assumed role session.          |
| ExternalId      | Select Generate Code to generate the External ID.           |

Once you have entered valid AWS Focus Cost And Usage Connector credentials, you can use the same account any time to create a new AWS Focus Cost And Usage Connector DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see [Manage Connector Accounts](/docs/s/article/360042926054).

## Details Pane

This pane contains a primary **Reports** menu to configure.

| Field       | Description             |
| ----------- | ----------------------- |
| Report Name | Select the report name. |
